5 Ways to Create Great Content for Your Business

Thanks to Vicki O’Neill, CEO of KenKay Marketing, for introducing me to Blab and for hosting our conversation about ways businesses can create content that attracts customers online.

As you’ll see from the video recorded during our talk, Blab makes it easy for busy business owners to share information directly with customers — quickly and inexpensively. Things to do right now with Blab:

  • Answer customers’ frequently asked questions
  • Provide how-to tips
  • Interview customers for testimonials
  • Talk with suppliers and vendors about new products and industry trends
  • Spotlight your employees and their expertise
  • Organize a users’ group for customers
  • Create a video blog or podcast
  • Organize a mastermind or networking group with other business owners

Blab enables you to create a free account, schedule and publicize your events, and embed the Blab on your blog or website as I’ve done here. Then you can invite prospects and customers to view your event on your business website, where they will find all of your other content and contact information. Blab is web-based so there’s no software to purchase or download to your computer. If you already use Twitter, Blab will import your contacts who also use Twitter and Blab to connect you immediately. It couldn’t be easier. I recommend you try it for your business this week.

Vicki and I continued our conversation from a presentation about five ways businesses can create great online content that I gave at New Media Dayton earlier this month. All of the content tools and links are included in my slide deck from that talk. Here’s where you’ll find them:
